Spending time outdoors has a way of bringing people together. At the fifth annual Clays for Kids Quebec, that connection carried a special purpose: supporting children and families facing childhood cancer.
Nature Tracks was proud to support the event by contributing gear, joining a community of participants, organizers and supporters who helped make the gathering a success.
With friendly competition on the course and stories shared throughout the day, the event showed what can happen when people put their shared interests behind a cause that matters.
A community making a difference
In its message to supporters, Childhood Cancer Canada shared that Clays for Kids Quebec has raised more than $310,000 in support of its mission to ensure no childhood is lost to cancer.
That support reaches beyond the event itself. It helps Childhood Cancer Canada provide direct financial assistance to families and advance pediatric oncology research across Canada. It also helps families access financial and psychosocial support during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
For the outdoor community, it is a meaningful way to turn a day together into something with a lasting impact.

The story behind the cause
One of the day’s meaningful moments came from hearing the story of Dorine Sibomana, a Childhood Cancer Canada Survivor Scholarship recipient.
Her experience with childhood cancer inspired her to pursue a future in healthcare and study medicine. Her story brought the purpose of the event into focus: helping children and families access the care, research and support they need, while making room for the futures ahead of them.

Proud to play a small part
At Nature Tracks, our connection to the outdoors includes the people we share it with. Supporting Clays for Kids Quebec was an opportunity to give back alongside a community that showed up with generosity and a common purpose.
Thank you to the Childhood Cancer Canada team, the event organizers, every participant and fellow supporter who helped make this possible. A special thank-you to Matt McMillan at Premium Barrel Consultancies for connecting with us and sharing the highlights.
We are grateful to have played a small part.
